Teacher Maria provided a
well structured course
and tested my level to give the most accurate study plan on the first day. She explained grammar clearly and provided sufficient (but also not too heavy) homework for practicing. I reviewed and learned all the indicative past tenses in 2 weeks (3 hours per day, 30 hours in total)!

I took classes with Maria for 3 hours a day for 3 weeks. She started with a conversation to see what I was hoping to get out of my time. I had a basic knowledge of Spanish but Maria went through the basics that I thought I already knew to correct errors I was often making without knowing.
Then, she systematically went through the past tenses which I really needed help with learning. We had days where she taught and I took notes, and days where we spent the majority of the time talking so that I could practice the things I had learned. The practical application of having a conversation helped so much because she was able to correct me as I was talking. She also had some games that we played in past tense.
Everyday, I had some homework to do but it wasn’t an overwhelming amount. It was helpful for me to have things that I needed to do in the afternoon/evening which helped me remember and practice on my own.
I really enjoyed my classes with Maria and would highly recommend her to anyone
looking to learn or improve their Spanish.
